The latest Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place last night, and as ever the stars of the big and small screens made the red carpet their runway. From Angelina Jolie to Catherine Zeta-Jones, many of the A-listers rocked up wearing black as a show of solidarity for victims of sexual assault and harassment. Proving that statements and style go together fabulously, there were some seriously glamorous garms on display. Here are some of our favourites from the big night.
Angelina Jolie
Ms Jolie arrived at the Beverly Hilton donning this sheer ostrich feather-adorned gown – and we can’t work out why we love it.
Diane Kruger
German-American star Diane Kruger went back to her Troy days in this embellished Grecian-inspired number.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner showed off her enviable pins in this layered lace couture gown.
Naomi Campbell
Supermodel Naomi Campbell showed solidarity in this elegant frock, which featured simple vertical pleats.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
The Welsh icon turned up the heat with this body-baring lacy number, which she accessorized with emerald encrusted bling.
Dakota Johnson
Dakota Johnson gave us 50 Shades of Glamour with this attention-grabbing gown, which featured a generous cluster of jewels on the back, as well as a sparkly train.
Sarah Jessica-Parker
Fishnet and red carpets don’t usually go together, but SJP made it work. We think Carrie Bradshaw would approve.
Penelope Cruz
Penelope Cruz gave us gothic glamour in this black lace frock, which featured contrasting silky train.
Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington certainly didn't cause a fashion scandal with this sparkling show of solidarity, wearing a stunning sequined gown along with statement earrings and chic tousled hair.
Mary J. Blige
Mary J. Blige gave us 21st century Hollywood glam in this asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti dress, which featured a shimmering silver sleeve and train.
